Archived work

Over a twenty-year career I’ve helped create a lot of campaigns. Below are some of my favourites.

Patek Philippe ‘Generations’

If a measure of effectiveness is a client investing and running the same campaign year after year then this must be great advertising.

Running for over twenty years, ‘Generations’ was voted best luxury campaign ever by Time magazine. In fact, it has been running so long that the little girl in the very first ad, now has her own children.

The Sky Difference

An always-on campaign vehicle for Sky to communicate all the services, functions, benefits and content that make Sky unique.

Wedgewood brand campaign

Exported to over 120 countries Wedgwood is famous and coveted the world over. Its products are held in the permanent collections of the V&A, the Design Museum as well as the Metropolitan Museum in New York.

This brand campaign celebrates some of these achievements as well reminding people that for all its beauty, wedgwood is meant to be used and not saved only for special occasions.

Co-op recruitment campaign.

As well as one of the world’s largest consumer co-operatives, the Co-op is the UK’s fifth biggest food retailer, employing nearly 70,000 people.

A recognised leader in social goals and community-led projects, they exist to stand up for their members and support the causes they believe in.

So, the more successful they are, the more they give back to the local community.

This is what makes them different as a company - and an employer.

What is that island feeling?

It is pools that are not overcrowded, beaches covered in sand not sun loungers. It is marvelling at the intricate carvings in Hauteville House, the island home of Victor Hugo. Above all it is a more relaxed way of life.

Visually the campaign is all about the photography and the acute observation of details and moments. Like a patchwork of images and memories a great holiday leaves you with.

The Pirate’s Curse.

Escapology is a US based escape room franchise. This campaign, for the launch of their new game, ran in local press, out of home and social channels.

Co-op Christmas campaign. Everyone’s invited.

An integrated campaign for the Channel Islands Co-operative.

The first restriction free Christmas since the Covid 19 pandemic, the campaign encouraged friends and family to get together over the Christmas break in 2022.

Christie’s - The app

How do you update a 250 year old brand and make it relevant for new digitally minded clients.

The Christie’s app for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android. It’s a free application that allows you to browse or register bids in upcoming sales. Users can also submit absentee bids, review auction results, and learn how to buy and sell with Christie’s - all from their mobile device.

To launch it a print campaign to run in Christie’s members magazine was commissioned.

BBC History

The BBC programme, ‘The Great British Story’ was a landmark history project that told the story of Great Britain and Nothern Ireland.

The aim of this campaign was to connect people to their own local history, to tell them that history isn’t just the story of kings and queens, it is their story; the story of their town, their street and their family.
